CODE OF CONDUCT

This Code of Conduct applies to everyone participating in Infosec In the City events and/or functions (i.e. the Participants) — including, but not limited to, attendees, exhibitors, partners, sponsors, speakers, instructors, trainers, press, staff, and crew/volunteers.


Infosec In the City Staff and Crew/volunteers will enforce this Code of Conduct throughout all Infosec In the City events and/or functions.


Infosec In the City events and/or functions provides a harassment-free experience for everyone, regardless of gender, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, socioeconomic status, or religion. We do not tolerate harassment in any form. Sexual language and imagery are not appropriate at any point of the event(s) or function(s). Participants violating these rules may be sanctioned or expelled from the event or function without a refund at the discretion of the Infosec In the City Staff or Crew/volunteer. 


Harassment includes offensive verbal comments related to gender, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, religion, sexual images in public spaces, deliberate intimidation, stalking, following, cyber-bullying, harassing photography or recording, sustained disruption of talks or other events, inappropriate physical contact, and unwelcome sexual attention. 


All participants shall not use sexualised imagery, activities, or other materials. All participants shall not use sexualised clothing/uniforms/costumes, or otherwise, create a sexualised environment. 


Participants asked to cease any inappropriate behaviour shall comply immediately. If a participant engages in any inappropriate behaviour, Infosec In the City Staff or Crew/volunteer may take any action deemed necessary, including warning or expelling the offender from the event or function with no refund. 


If you are, or notice someone else, being harassed, or have any other concerns, please contact a member of Infosec In the City Staff or Crew/volunteer immediately. Infosec In the City Staff of Crew/volunteer will be happy to help participants contact the venue security or local law enforcement, or provide escorts assist those experiencing harassment to feel safe for the duration of the event or function.
