CODE OF CONDUCT
This Code of Conduct applies to everyone participating in Infosec in the City events — from attendees and exhibitors to speakers, trainers, press, and volunteers. The event organisers will enforce this Code of Conduct throughout all Infosec in the City events.
Infosec in the City events provides a harassment-free experience for everyone, regardless of gender, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, or religion. We do not tolerate harassment in any form. Sexual language and imagery are not appropriate at any point of the event(s). Event participants violating these rules may be sanctioned or expelled from the event without a refund at the discretion of the event organisers.
Harassment includes offensive verbal comments related to gender, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, religion, sexual images in public spaces, deliberate intimidation, stalking, following, harassing photography or recording, sustained disruption of talks or other events, inappropriate physical contact, and unwelcome sexual attention.
Exhibitors shall not use sexualised imagery, activities, or other materials. Exhibitors shall not use sexualised clothing/uniforms/costumes, or otherwise, create a sexualised environment.
Participants asked to cease any inappropriate behaviour shall comply immediately. If a participant engages in any inappropriate behaviour, the event organisers may take any action deemed necessary, including warning or expelling the offender from the event with no refund.
If you are, or notice someone else, being harassed, or have any other concerns, please contact a member of the event staff immediately. Event staff will be happy to help participants contact the venue security or local law enforcement, or provide escorts assist those experiencing harassment to feel safe for the duration of the event.
